Ariel started her writing career as a teen, winning the runner-up prize in Victoria’s Young Playwright’s Festival. She continued to hone her writing skills while in post-secondary, eventually leading to her first short screenplay, Ready to Burst, which was produced in 2016. This led to her co-writing Paint the Town Red alongside Bad Cookie Pictures co-founder Christopher Graham. Ariel followed those films up with Nepenthes and her award winning short screenplays Clout and Damned Supper. Currently she is working on a slate of feature screenplays expanding on some of her earlier work.

Ariel is currently writing feature film adaptations of her short films Clout and Nepenthes.
